Joseph Samuel Williams, age 48, of Longview, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was born on August 11, 1977, at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.

Joseph was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud family man. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with his wife, children, and loved ones. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and made countless memories sharing those passions with family and friends. He will be remembered for his caring heart, quiet strength, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Williams; his biological mother, also Rosalie Williams; and his father, Charles Williams.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Michele Williams; his children, Brittany Williams, 26; JW Williams, 25; Shayla Williams, 21; Jayleah Williams, 19; Temprense Williams, 16; Trinity Williams, 14; and Colt Williams, 12.

He is also survived by the children he lovingly welcomed into his family: Kendra Rheeders and her husband, Michael Rheeders; Devan Latham; Brittany Marlow and her husband, Dyllon Marlow; Brentlee; and Colton, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Joseph's greatest legacy was the love he had for his family. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Joseph's memory spend time with their loved ones, enjoy the outdoors, or simply perform an act of kindness in his honor.
