Alvin Lawrence Bradley (AKA) “Man” “Teddy” made his dual entrance on earth as a twin; was born July 30, 1957 in Rusk County, Texas to Sudie M. Bradley and William H. Reese.
He attended Tatum I.S.D. He accepted Christ at and early age. He was a member of the New Smith Chapel Hour of Power, and later moved to Kansas City, MO for a few years and joined the Rescue Baptist Church of Jesus Christ and later relocated back to Tatum, TX.
Alvin was a hard worker until his health began to fail. He held many job positions: C E Rogers Store, Bradley & Bradley Asphalt, Brown & Brown Industrial and Crown Center Garage Attendant in Kansas City, MO.
Alvin AKA “Teddy” had a love for the Lord in his own affectionate way. He often spoke of Heaven, that one day he was going home to live with Jesus and it will be “Grand”. He never met a stranger and extended love to all. There was no task or request that he was not willing to step up or try, “his favorite song “I’m just a nobody trying to tell Everybody, about Somebody who can save Anybody!”
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers Robert E. Bradley, Joe L. Bradley, James W. Bradley, Herman Bradley, Robert L. Bradley, T. J. Reese, David Reese, two sisters Fannie M. Pinkins and Gloria M. Fletcher.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his twin sister, whom he made known to everyone who embraced his presence, Alma Bland (Pastor. W. T.) Raytown, MO; Doris Williams, Kansas City MO; Opal Byrdsong (Roger) of Longview, TX; Ruthie Fletcher (Elvis) and Lavoria Bradley both of Tatum, TX; two brothers, Minister Clifford Bradley of Henderson, TX and Larry Bradley of Joplin, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
