Angela Jackson was born on October 19, 1961 in Marshall, Texas, to Henry Jenkins & Bessie Mae Jackson-Smith, who raised her with love, strength, and unwavering support. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her.

Because of her caring nature and ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory, she was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She attended Longview High School " Class of 1980", where she excelled academically and built lifelong friendships. She was a hardworking and ambitious individual. She pursued a career as a Certified Nurse's Assistant for 47 years. Her dedication and passion left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients. She was deeply committed to her work, always striving to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Angela Jackson was a woman of many passions. She found joy in traveling to Southern Soul concerts, and Blues events. Angela enjoyed dancing. She was always eager to share her talent with those around her. She was definitely the "Life of the Party". 

Angela leaves her love with her children, Deric Jackson (Dormonique Jefferson), Terrance Jackson, and  Altonya Reed; grandchildren, Janiya Jackson, Jermeshia Shead, A'Myr Reed, D'Alton Reed, Queen Jackson, and Deric Jefferson-Jackson; two siblings Yvonne Wheeler (Clarence) and Verna Thorton, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald "Tick" Pierce, mother Bessie Mae Jackson, father Henry Jenkins, siblings Eddie Pearl Haynes, Carolyn Pilot, Debra Gray, Lynwell Smith, Alton Smith, Lewis Smith, Clyde T. Hutchinson, Melvin Hutchinson, James Earl Hutchinson, Henry Smith, and grandson Rahsaan Jefferson, whom we take comfort in knowing they welcomed her with open arms. 

Per the family’s request there will be no public viewing until after the Eulogy.
