Annetta O'Neal Obituary

Annetta M. OʹNeal was born October 2, 1948 to the parentage of Roy and Lessi B. McLemore.

Annetta graduated from Mary C. Womack High School, Class of 1967. She attended CNA training at Good Shepherd Medical Center where she received her CNA certification. She attended BMI School of Business where she received a certificate of completion. She also attended Texas Municipal Education Center where she received a certification for legal processing. She was key in organizing the first Turnip Green Festival in the City of Easton.

At an early age, she united with Parkview Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. D. McCoy. Later in life, she united with the Union Grove First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. V. L. Rockmore.

She united in Holy Matrimony with Mr. Ruben OʹNeal Jr. and to this union three children were born. Annetta was employed with Longview ISD, Loans of Texas, Mitchell Bail Bond, City of Easton, and Jordan Health Services.

She departed this life on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son David McGee, her parents, and two brothers James McGee and Hence Carter.

Those left to cherish her memories: children, LaTorrance McGee, Denver Wallace (Rudy), Ruben Blair OʹNeal Sr. (Kneicha); best friend, Delores Coleman; sisters, Narzetta Willis (Rufus), Ruthy B. Call, Delilah Turner; brothers, Wesley McGee and David McLemore; grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
