Surrounded by family, our Beloved Mother, Grandmother to many, and Great Grandmother passed away on July 18, 2023.
Those left to continue her legacy and forever cherish her memories are: her children Jose (Pepito) and Maria (Loly); Son in Law Nacho; Grandchildren Carina, Joey, Victor, Ignacio (Nachito), Richard (Richy), Marina, Tatiana, Ashley, Anthony, Eduardo, Brittney and Stacy; and Great Grandchildren Alizey, Eduardo Jr., Hennezy, Annylie, Aliyah, Alayna, Yatzely, Zayden, Braylen, Brooklyn, Neveah (Yaya) and Ignacio Jr.
Preceding her in death are her parents Domiciano and Eulalia; sisters Lolita and Marylou; and ex husband Jose Luis (Pepe).
She was born on May 5, 1938, in Cuba where she grew up to be a teacher. She moved to the US in March of 1971 leaving her friends and family behind for a chance at a better life for her children. After being in Chicago for a few years, her and her husband decided to move to Bell, California where her children grew to create their own families. After living in California for over 30 years, she moved with her daughter and grandkids to Texas. Abuela loved telenovelas, knitting, word search puzzles, gardening, reading and writing poems. She also enjoyed her long walks to the mailbox for her daily exercise. She lived for her children, grandkids and great grands and now we will all live for her.
La queremos un monton, que Dios la bendiga.
