Archie Halton was born on January 6, 1962 in Longview, Texas to Archie Dee Madison and Alla V. Halton. He graduated from Longview High School in 1980.
Archie worked for Adam’s Furniture for over 25 years. He was a devoted worker for his job and others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Archie was the biggest Cowboys’ fan and loved a good game of dominoes.
Special thanks to his friends that have been there over the years: Ransome, Richard, Bruce, Ryder, Big Lee, Earnest, Red, Alford and AJ, plus many more.
He was preceded in death by both parents; brother: Wesley Halton; sister: Janet Halton; and, step-son: Shaan.
Archie is survived by his wife: Laura; daughter: Franshawn “Nikki”; son: Dondra “DJ”; brothers: Robert and Roy (Pam); sisters: Virginia “Ann” (Brett), Lavena and Lola; grandchildren: Na’Tavia, Cross, Jase, Ja’Niya, Ja’Leyah, Harmoni, Brea; great-grandson: Kysien; stepdaughter: Danesha (B.J.); step-sons: Mykel and Jaren (Tyronnie); his Kansas City family; and a host of nieces and nephews.
