Archie Willie Singleton

Archie Willie Singleton was born to the proud parents of the late Alvord (Jack) Singleton and Murtha Singleton. He was born in Center, Texas and attended school in Center, Texas but graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tenaha, Texas.

Archie work at Letourneau for 34 years and retired in 2000.

Archie leaves a loving family to cherish many precious memories of life well lived and well spent.

A very very devoted companionship for 59 years to Ester Mae Singleton; one daughter, Cresiedia Ann Lewis and husband Kenneth Sr.; son Archie Singleton II and wife Jennifer of Longview, Texas; two grandchildren; Tonika Lockett and husband Terrell Sr. Houston, Texas; Kenneth Lewis Jr. and Ashely of Longview, Texas; and great-grandchildren Ternell Lockett, Mariah Lewis, Kennedy Lewis, Terrell Jr, Malik Cook, and Braylon Clark; brothers Willie James Singleton, of Longview, Texas and Vernon Dean Singleton and wife Liza of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters Fannie Mae Holman of Longview, Texas, Ella Garrett husband W.J, Elma Suell, Debra Mayweather and husband Donald Ray of Mansfield, Louisiana; one uncle T.J. Simon; brothers-in-law: Rev. Billy Earl Gardner wife Margie of Lufkin, Texas, Thomas Gardner and wife Wanda, Jerry Gardner and wife Cheryl, Fredrick Gardner and wife Stella; sisters-in-law: Allene Singleton of Dallas, Texas, Myrtis McClelland of Center, Texas; and host of nieces and nephews.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Leon Singleton and Alvord Singleton.
