Brandon DeMarcus Hatten was born, September 25, 1975 to Billy and Katie Hatten in Longview TX.
He was a 1994 graduate of Longview High School.
Brandon united in Holy Matrimony with Valerie Taylor Hatten, on January 20, 2012.
He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Longview, and was formerly employed by Target Warehouse as a Safety Coordinator.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
Brandon is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Valerie; father and mother, Billy and Katie Hatten; sons, James Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Eric Smith, of Longview, TX; 2 sisters, Katrina Hatten, of Cleburne TX and Kimberly (Jarrad) Harris, of Longview TX; nephews, Kameron Sublett of Denton TX, Khylon Sublett of Longview TX, Jabari Pritchett, of Huntsville AL, and Azarius Pritchett of Dayton OH; nieces, Kennedi Hatten, of Longview TX, and Jailynn Dewberry, of Athens TX; grandmother, Tommie Hatten, of Avinger TX; mother-in-law, Classie Taylor, of Longview TX; father-in-law, Quincy Taylor, of Longview TX; sister-in-law, Sonia (Maurice) Pritchett, of Dayton OH; aunts, Bertha Morrow, Janette Linwood, both of Longview TX, Ina Peoples, of Ore City TX, Virginia (Jimmy) Linwood, Jenette (Melvin) Montgomery, both of Avinger TX; uncles, John Patton Jr., Bellam Patton, and David Patton, all of Ore City TX, Anthony (Susie) Hatten, Dennis Hatten, both of Longview TX, and Jerry Wayne Hatten, of Hughes Springs, TX; and a host of cousins, close family members, and friends.
