Byrondrick Dikiethian Davis was born November 19, 1993 in Longview, Texas to Shanequa Hyder and Tommy Davis, Sr. He graduated from Pine Tree High School in 2012.
Byrondrick Dikiethian Davis was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: Roylee Walton Sr., Rogers L. Davis, and Mary Lee Davis.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his parents Shanequa Barnes (Johnnie) and Tommy Davis Sr. (Gloria); sisters: Shaquayvia Hyder, Tomika Jackson (Erik), Trayvaylon Davis, Alexis Davis, Sarah Barnes, and Hailey Barnes; bonus sisters: Sherell House and Madison Woods; brothers: Korey Bowens, Tommy Davis Jr. (Laporsia), Mekenzie Davis, Da’Cedric Hunt, Trayvon Davis, and Johnathon Barnes; grandmother: Hilda Hyder; and, a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, extended family and dear friends.
He walked this earth with steady grace.
With work worn hands and a faithful face.
Through trials deep and victories won
He stood as a Quiet Storm, strong, and a Divine Prince.
A son, a brother, a friend.
His love was constant from start to end.
He taught us to rise, to stand with pride.
To keep our faith and our God beside.
His laughter still echoes, his wisdom remains.
In whispered prayers and silent rain.
Though we lay him to rest, his spirit lives on
In every soul he made feel strong.
Now heaven’s gates have opened wide.
To welcome him home on the other side.
No more pain, no more tears to see
just everlasting peace and eternity.
So we don’t say goodbye, but “Rest in Power.”
For love like his will bloom every hour.
Until we meet again. His light lives on in us.
