Chandra Cartwright Obituary
Chandra Fountain Cartwright, daughter of Georgia Mae Fountain and Earl Johnson, was born July 10, 1959 in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Big Sandy High School.
At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined New Zion Baptist Church.
She briefly attended TJC then worked for Jarvis Christian College 1980‐1986. She graduated from Tyler School of Business in 1987. She worked for Color Tyme, LA Cellular and Genpak 1994‐2022.
She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Earl Cartwright and the union was blessed with two beautiful daughters Vailere Inez Cartwright and Chanika Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Christolynn Johnson, brother George Fountain and grandmother Varie Derrick.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Vailere Cartwright, Longview, TX; Chanika Johnson (Christopher), Tyler, TX; husband, Willie Earl Cartwright; grandchild, Breylon Dra'chan Fountain; great‐grand, Kaine Fountain; sisters, Tamra Fountain, Jonita Fountain; Verdean Hayes; brothers, Wendell Fountain and Tony Fountain; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
