Cheryl Y. Lewis-Watson

Cheryl was born to Lucille and Lloyd Lewis on August 8, 1963.  She departed this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Christus Good Shepherd.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Lloyd Lewis, her brother Larry Lewis, her grandparents Clyde Wiley, Sr.,  Ola and Thaddeus Maxey and Katherine Brantley and L. C. Lewis. 

Cheryl was a 1982 graduate of Hallsville High School. 

She was employed at Perky Power Plant for 33 years, and she also worked 10 years at the Hallsville School District. 

Cheryl was a longtime member of the Golden Hill Baptist Church where her two children TaLesia and Cedric ministered to her through music and songs.  

Cheryl united in marrige to Charles Watson on April 14, 2014. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Charles Watson, her son Cedric Lewis of Dallas, her daughter TaLesia (John) Johnson of Longview, her grandson Jaydon Lewis of Longview. One sister Kathy (Morris) Dillard of Hallsville. Her nephew Cornelius Dillard of Dallas and niece TeAmber Dillard of Hallsville. Her extended family, Alicia Watson, Tasha Nesbitt, LaRoysha Watson, Emma Watson, Sandra Brown, Chavis Mills, and Patrick Jackson and 23 grandkids.  Also left to cherish her memory is a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
