Brother Clark Crosby, Jr. was born March 9, 1946 in Hallsville, Texas to Clark Crosby, Sr. and Stella Robinson Crosby; the youngest of five children.
Clark accepted Christ at an early age at the New Zion Church of Christ in Marshall, Texas. He later became an active member of Rollins Addition Church of Christ. Clark was often seen leading song service and was a member of the Brotherhood until his health started to decline.
Clark attended school at Galilee High School in Hallsville, Texas. Clark retired from GATX Corporation after 15 years of service, before returning to Longview, Texas. He then worked for AAON for 7 years.
Clark united marriage to Maxine Stoker Crosby on November 22, 1968, and to this union 3 children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Hollis Crosby and James Crosby and granddaughter E’lexus Crosby.
He leaves to mourn: his devoted wife and caretaker, Maxine Crosby; 3 children, Obie (Ann) Crosby of Longview, Texas; Felicia (Earl) Ruben of Heartland, Texas and Jason (Brandy) Crosby of Longview, Texas; 1 sister, Ruth Brookins of Longview, TX; 1 brother, Royce (Joyce) Crosby of Gladewater, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Chris, Cordnay, Red, Jaser, Christopher, Amirah, Donavan, and Ja’Coby, which he adored and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
