Danny Davis

DANNY LEE CORNELL DAVIS was born May 31, 1968 in Gladewater, TX to the union of Johnny U. Davis and the late Linda Taylor Davis. He attended Longview High School in Longview, TX. Brother Davis was baptized at an early age and attended Fleming St. Church of Christ. He remained a faithful member there until the day he was called home.

He united in Matrimony to Melissa Meister on August 16, 1991 and to this union two children were born.

Bro. Davis was caring and loving to all who knew him. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had an upbeat spirit and maintained a positive outlook throughout life. Bro. Davis was eager to serve the Lord and help wherever needed. Even when faced with illness, Bro. Davis remained strong and faithful in the Lord.

He was also preceded in death by one brother Stephen Davis and one sister April Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory: father, Bro. Johnny U. Davis of Longview, TX; two sons, Jordan (Gia) Davis and Cameron (Catelyn) Davis both of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Cedric (Cynthia) Davis of Kilgore, TX, Eric (Christie) Davis, Jason (Yolanda) Davis of Longview, TX and Brandon (Brittany) Davis of Grand Prairie, TX; sisters, Melissa (Fredrick) Moore of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Marion (Michael) Henry Sr., Ashley Davis, Faith Davis, and Hope Davis all of Longview, TX; two granddaughters, Kalani and London; three nieces, Taylor, Michala and Jessica; six nephews, Jahleel, Dervares, Cedric Jr., Kedric (Whitney), Jeremy (Priscilla) and Michael Jr.; three great-nieces, Adina, Naomi and Nevaeh; one great-nephew, Stephen and a host of other relatives and friends.
