Dedric Donyell Robertson, was born June 18, 1971 in Tyler, TX to the parentage of Lena Harris Timberlake and Calvin Robertson.
He is a proud graduate of Longview High School Class of ‘89.
He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, he was a truck driver and self-employed in his later years.
Some of his fondest memories include cooking for his family, horseback riding, cruising on his motorcycle and tailgating for his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys.
Dedric served as a Lance Corporal (LCpl) in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War.
He joined Red Oak Baptist Church at an early age where he served in the youth choir and played the drums. Mr. Robertson was an Ordained Minister and a youth baseball coach. He was always
present and available to provide a helping hand to the church, community and to anyone in need.
Dedric is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Angelica Robertson; and sister, Rhonda Timberlake.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Joi Robertson, Jayla Robertson; a loving significant other, Carla Mayfield-Johnson; special sons, Marqal Johnson, Jr. and Joshua Johnson; brothers,
Tarodney Robertson, Houston, Texas; Calvin Clyde (Keeta) Robertson and Eric Timberlake, all of Dallas, Texas; Vincent Lathon, Longview, Texas; sisters, Vanessa (Ken) Pipkin, Longview, Texas, LaShanda Gibson, Beaumont, Texas, and Debra Timberlake, Tampa, Florida; stepdad, Donald (Wilma) Timberlake, Longview, Texas; special brother, Patrick Blanton; beloved granddaughter, Jaelee Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
