Donnie Norman

Donnie Norman, age 81, of Longview, Texas, passed away on February 24, 2026. Donnie was born on March 18, 1944, in Longview to the late Willie D. Norman and the late Mabel Sherman Moore. He grew up in Longview and attended Gladewater (Weldon) School and Sabine Valley School. He was employed by McChesney Turkey Farm in his early adult years and later was employed by Hayward Fiberglass Company for over 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Geraldine and husband W.C. Lemons, Shirley Mae and husband Edgar George Taylor; brother: Bobbie and wife Sylvia Norman; grandson: Michael Charles Bauchum; and granddaughter: Davin Tara Anderson.

Donnie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years: Frances; daughters: Adrienne Norman Polk (Grant), Rene Norman Bauchum and Callie Norman; son: David Anderson (Tela); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a "special grandson": Malik Montgomery; and a host of other relatives and friends.
