Dorian Ll Carro Moore, affectionately known to many as “Doe-doe,” was born on June 12, 1974, in Longview, Texas, to Calvin and Jacqueline Moore. On November 30, 2025, Dorian peacefully transitioned from his earthly life and gained his heavenly wings.
Dorian was educated in Longview ISD and was a proud 1992 graduate of Longview High School, where he played football and formed lifelong friendships. He was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Green Baptist Church, alongside his two sisters.
Dorian was blessed with a loving spirit and a personality that could light up any room. He truly never met a stranger. His presence was warm, funny, and unforgettable. In his free time, Dorian could always be found doing what he loved most — fishing and riding horses, enjoying the outdoors and the peace it brought him.
He was preceded in death by his father: Calvin Moore and his beloved daughter: Shelberly Moore.
Dorian leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted mother: Jacqueline Moore; two sisters: Tamara (Kelso) Deckard and La Toya Moore; nieces and nephews: Makala Skinner, Taylor (Amanda) Garrett, Tylor (Taylor Hughes) Garrett, TaMya Garrett, TaMia Garrett, and Tykelan Flamer; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.
Dorian’s laughter, kindness, and generous heart will forever live on in those who were blessed to know him. His memory will continue to be a source of comfort, strength, and love.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” ~ Psalm 30:5
