Dorsay Nelson

Dorsay Nelson was born July 10, 1930 to Webb Nelson Sr. and Elnora Vance in Tatum, Texas.

He was educated in Harmony Hill Public Schools; Tatum High School and Texas College.

Dorsay was united in Holy Matrimony with Willie Jean Reese on October 22, 1954.

The United States Army, Dorsay served his country proudly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Webb Nelson Sr. and Elnora Vance Nelson; siblings Kathy Hawkins, Maurice Nelson, Webb Nelson Jr. and Virgil Nelson.

Loving memories will be cherish by his wife of 67 years, Willie Jean Nelson; seven children: Gary Nelson (Andrette), Vincent Nelson, Aretha Smith, Angelia Sells (Daniel Jr.), Isaiah Nelson, Dorsay Jean Glaspie, (Rodney) and Galia Franklin (Thomas); 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; siblings and brother-in-law, Laura Lee Trimble, E. W. Nelson (Jessie), Margine Nelson, Alma Jean Reese, Louise M. Reese and Irene Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
