Ella Copeland, age 61, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026.
Ella was born on April 8, 1964, in Longview, Texas, to Ethel B. Copeland and the late Jesse James Copeland. She was raised in Longview, where she attended Longview High School and built a life rooted in love, strength, and family.
Ella was a woman who carried warmth wherever she went. She was known for her loving spirit, her strong presence, and the way she showed up for those she loved. Whether through laughter, guidance, or simply being there, Ella made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse James Copeland, and her brother, Michael Copeland.
Ella leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Ethel B. Copeland; her daughter, Marilyn Ann Copeland; her sons, Marcus Burns and Kerry Burns; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
