Ellison Orlando Brown Sr. Obituary

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be also And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord,
we know not whither thou goest; And how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, And the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14: 1-6

Ellison Orlando Brown Sr. was born on June 16, 1974, in Longview, Texas, to the parentage of Pastor Ellis Brown Jr. and Mary Ann Leadon Brown. He united with Red Oak Baptist Church at an early age and later rededicated his life at Swancy Street Baptist Church.

He attended Longview High School, in which he graduated with the class of ‘92. Ellison went on to attend TSTC for a few semesters. He was employed as a cook following in the footsteps of his mother. He was a man with a giving spirit. Always taking time to experience life side by side with his family. He never shied away from hard work or turned away from helping others.

He developed a love for automotive repair. He took pride in the work that he did at all times and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. He loved his family and looked out for his little brothers and nephews. Ellison will be greatly missed.

Ellison married early in his adult life, to this union was born one daughter: Elease L. Brown and one son: Ellison O. Brown Jr. He was preceded in death by both his parents: Pastor Ellis Brown Jr. and Mary Ann Leadon Brown; grandparents; eight aunts; and one uncle.
