Era Mae Smith

Era Mae was born to Vesta Mae Lacy and John Henry Dudley on June 11, 1939.

She attended New Hope Schools and graduated in 1956.

She attended New Hope Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Hazel and Barbara, and two brothers, Kenneth and Earl.

Era leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Roy Mayfield of Kilgore, TX, Cheryl (Ameer) Shabazz of Teague, TX, DeJuana (Paul) Darden of Kilgore, TX and Brian Smith of Kilgore, TX; grandchildren, Sebastion Mauldin of Euless, TX and Sinclair Mauldin of Beaumont, TX; Paul's girls, Antrinette Darden and Kristina Darden and one great grandson, Connor Bradford, all of Longview TX; her siblings, Alvin (Deborah) Reed, Linda Cameron, Larry Loyd, Terry Lloyd, Jerry (Sheryl) Loyd, Johnny Dudley, Ebbie Towns, Phyllis Dudley, Sylvia Bornes and a host of relatives and friends.
