Reflections of her life...
Mrs. Evelyn A. Sanders was born on August 11, 1934 in Rusk County to Waskom and Gladys Adams. She answered the Master’s call and went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
Evelyn accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She graduated from Mayflower High School and retired from Kilgore Jr. College. She was a loyal and dedicated member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Willie “Boy” Sanders, parents Waskom and Gladys Adams, brother Rayford Adams and sister Rose Hightower.
She leaves to cherish her memory ten children; daughters, Kiyomi (Larry) King, Remonia (Andrew) Jordan, Yvette Crenshaw, Belinda Snoddy, Juana (Jarrod) Collins; sons, Willie Ray, Rydell, Tony, Eric, and Shun; brother AJ Adams; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
