Frankie Edward Speech was born on July 22, 1965 to the late Addie Lee Jackson and Robert Edward Jones in Longview, TX. Frankie was employed at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center, Longview, TX for many years. He was a dedicated husband, father, and friend to many.
Frankie’s formal education included public school in East Texas and Haynesville, Louisiana. He later enlisted in the United States Job Corp in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he successfully completed their academic program and received a Masonry Certificate.
Frankie’s journey returned him back to East Texas to work where he later met and married Terkeyethia Denise Thompson. They were inseparable and married for 30 years on his birthday, July 22, 1991. Their beloved union birthed one offspring, William Deshaun Speech.
Frankie’s pastime love for family and close friends were immeasurable. He often enjoyed cookouts and spending quality time with family and friends. His life was full and his spirit was always one of encouragement and peace.
Frankie departed his travels Thursday, May 5th and leaves behind a memory that will never fade; Devoted wife, Terkeyethia Denise Thompson, one son, William Deshaun Speech of Longview, TX; Frankie’s brothers includes: Leonard Taylor, Larry Washington, Gary Jones, Chris Jones, Basil Adams; three brothers-in-law: Butch James, William Fields, Sr., and Bobby Branch; Frankie’s sisters are: Debra Taylor Johnson, Norma Washington, Sheran James, Janet Lee, and the Late Etoyce Bates and Patricia Doze; Sisters-in-law includes: Robin Washington, Tina Jones, Abbey Jones, Tenesa Thompson, Sabrina Fields, Barbara Brown, and the late Detra Thompson-Mayfield; his mother-in-law: Mary Jane Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
