Fred Brown was born on Friday, October 10, 1947 in Longview, Texas to the late Eddie Brown and Willie Mae Hadden.
Fred attended Mary C. Womack High School. After graduating from Womack High School, he attended Wally Barber College.
He united with Pauline Coby in 1970, and out of that union they were blessed with three children. Later he married Joanne Price.
Fred Brown was an entrepreneur in the local community. He was the owner of Brown's Cleaning Service and also worked for the City of Longview Parks and Recreation. He was a dependable and hard worker who was known for his integrity and laid back demeanor. You will often find him in the local community cutting hair or providing free lawn care services for the Senior Citizens.
He was preceded in death by one brother, one son and his wife.
Fred Brown departed this life on Friday, June 14, 2019. He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Kelvin W. Brown (LaTasha); daughter, Angela Brown (Tony Stephens), step‐ son, Lashun Richardson; step‐daughter, Mattie Richardson; two brothers, Calvin Hatten and Roosevelt Strange; a special person, Pauline Coby Brown (caregiver and former wife) all from Longview; 6 grandchildren; 1 great‐ grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews and many family and friends who ill miss him dearly.
