Gary Nelson Williams

Gary Nelson Williams was born in Longview, TX on July 11, 1962 to Geneva Williams. He was the youngest of four children. Gary accepted Christ into his life at a young age and was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Later in life he enjoyed church services at Macedonia Baptist Church. On February 28, 2021, Gary entered into eternal sleep.

He attended Longview schools and participated in sport activities such as: track and field and basketball. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing pool at Geraldine’s Cafe in Bivins Addition. He was often seen walking throughout the neighborhood with his favorite pool stick. He also loved to play dominoes with family and friends. His love for family was endless. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Williams; brother, Dennis Williams; and sister Beverly Williams.

Loving memories will be cherished by: his sister, Brenda Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
