George Miller Jr.

George Miller, Jr. was born on September 1, 1934 to George Miller, Sr. and Vernon Jones. He graduated from Hill High School. After high school George served in the United States Army. He worked at Crosby/Lebus Manufacturing for 12 years and at Lone Star Steel.

George was a faithful member of Bethel AME Church. He married Rose Marie Brown on March 25,1972. She preceded him in death in July of 1997.

George is preceded in death by his parents; three children: Shadrick Miller, Tony Ward and Johnathan Miller.

Those left to cherish his memory are children: Alesha Miller and Salinia Miller; six grandchildren: Jeramie Williams, Christopher Williams, Brittany Willliams, Skylar McCray, Shaconna Barkes, and Makayla Barkes; 13 great -grandchildren; and siblings: Samuel Miller, Carlton Miller, Audrey Thompson, Bobbi Gibson, Mary Newman, Telly Miller, Alberta Miller, Robert Miller, and Grace Simon.
