Gloria Faye O'Neal, 86, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 21, 1939 in Longview TX, Gloria lived a life full of generosity, laughter, strength, and a deep love for family and friends.
Gloria was known for her love of nature and lively personality. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to pouring into others at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, CA, where she was respected for her quality care and nurturing character towards the patients. Outside of work, Gloria found joy in being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
Above all, family meant everything to Gloria. She was a devoted daughter, sibling, aunt, and friend, whose presence brought warmth and comfort. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Gloria is survived by one sister, Lola (Billy) Gray, loving niece and nephew, Odis Adams and Linda Adams, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews, and special friends, Chris Brown, Horace Graham, Jean Jones, and Merry Norris. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lieutenant Mitchell, four sisters Beatrice Williams, Helen Logan, Geraldine Davis, and Maxine Lawson.
Gloria Faye O'Neal will be deeply missed, but her light and love will continue to shine in the lives of those who loved her.
