Hazel Brookins

Ms. Hazel Marie Brookins was born November 22, 1934 in Harrison County to the parentage of Beatrice and Eddie Harris Sr.

Hazel attended Harrison County public school. She was employed by Globe Trotter Motel for several years.

Hazel also attended Galilee Baptist Church throughout her life.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy Earl Harris, brother Eddie Harris Jr., grandson Francesco Cox, and nephew Prentice Booth.

She leaves to cherish her daughters: Alice Brookins, Karen Brookins; sons: Daren (Patricia) Brookins, Elbert Brookins and Wilbert Brookins; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; special friend: Wilbert Brookins; favorite cousin: Nathan O’Neal with a host of family and friends.
