Irene Walker

Mother Irene Walker was born February 17, 1932 to the late Arthur Tucker and Gertrude Williams in Rusk, Texas.

Mother Walker was a faithful member of the New Testament Pentecostal Church of Hallsville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by both parents and late husband’s Roy Sturns and Willie Walker; siblings: Annie Session, Pauline Warren, Ola Mae Barrett, Earline King, Gertha Lee White, Jesse Mae Tims, Alice Gossett and oldest son Roy Sturns.

Mother leaves to cherish her memories – three children: Rena V. Tucker (John), Ovidia Blanton (Michael) and Leo Sturns (Joann); a granddaughter she raised: Latasha Brown; sister: Clara B. Grant; brother: Arthur Jr. Tucker; a host of grandchildren, three generations of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
