Ivory Jean Taylor Obituary

Ms. Ivory Jean Taylor was born July 19, 1943 to the late John S. and Fannie Mae Toliver.


She attended C.B. Dansby School where she played in the band and graduated.


She accepted Christ at an early age where she attended Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church in Overton, TX.


She worked many years for Forest Park Middle School in Longview, TX.


She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her sister Mildred Delois Toliver, a brother Willis Williams and a niece Delois Jean King.


She is survived by: her daughter, Carol Tribble (Mark); a son, Craig Taylor; a brother, Melvin Tolbert (Dorothy); her bonus daughters, Terri Hall (Marvin), Doris Jones (Joe), Faye Thompson
and Dwight Robinson; 2 grandsons, Jamauris Garrett and Janarrow Taylor (Kristy); 2 great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jakari; special nieces, Betty Murphy, Catrina Love (Pastor Love), Juanita King many more.


She loved all her family. She was well loved and will always be remembered as a person who was always giving.
