John Arthur Acles III

John Arthur Acles III was born to the parents of John Acles Jr. and Juresy Cox Acles "El Ruth" in Monroe, Louisiana. He attended school in Hallsville and Longview, Texas. He also played football for Longview High School.

During his childhood and teenage years he attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and Growing Valley Baptist Church.

John Arthur Acles III worked at Wyatt's Cafeteria for many years. He also worked for L.C. Detail Shop detailing cars.

John Arthur Acles III was preceded in death by his parents John Acles Jr. and Juresy Cox Acles “El Ruth” and three nephews Marcus Tinnell Acles, Joseph Acles and Quincy Williams.

Left to cherish the memory of John Arthur Acles III are Vanessa Neal; eight sisters: Nelmon Jenkins (Curtis), Maxine Campbell (Andrew), Lois Cooper (Cornell), Lora Turner (Calvin), Jeannette Acles, Brenda Williams (Darren), Rosie Acles (J.W. Writt), JoAnn Davis (Lavert); all of Longview, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
