John L. Brown

John L. Brown was born April 10, 1948 in Longview, Texas to Emma Lee Brown. He fellowship with churches, being a long - term member at New Sweet Home C.O.G.I.C. under Supt. Jerry L. Reese and Union Valley True Gospel under Bishop E.R. Starling.

John L. was a man who enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, farming, or working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his parent and seven siblings, Louise Wallace, R.L. Colbert, Betty L. Wallace, Rosie Lee Clay, Marilyn Brown, Frankie B. Brown -Hayes, Ronnie Brown, Rosetta Brown and Betty Joyce Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Virginia Ann Brown; one brother, Clifford Ray Brown; children; grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
