Mrs. Katie Gray was born June 3, 1933 in Hallsville, Texas to E Candis and Ida Swift.

Mrs. Gray attended school in the Hallsville Public School District. She accepted Christ at a very early age.

Mrs. Gray was a hard working woman. She worked for Doctor Julia Vanburkleo for over 50 years. The Vanburkleo's became her second family and remained so until this day.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Gray, her parents E Candis and Ida Swift, a daughter Barbara Carr, and a son Allen Gray.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Lille Lee of Fort Worth, Bobby Stokes of Desoto, and Alice King of Fort Worth; three sons, Michael Gray of Longview, Allen L. Morgan (April) of Louisiana, and Anthony Morgan of Longview. Mrs. Gray had a host of grandchildren, great‐grandchildren (too many to count or name), a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members as well as friends.
