Kenneth Wayne Brantley was born October 4, 1959 to J.D. and Beulah (Alford) Brantley.
He attended Hallsville Public School and graduated in 1978.
He started at Southwest Steel on June 19, 1978, as a cast finisher, forklift driver and lead man. With his loyalty and dedication, he was later promoted to a superintendent. He was a great leader and a friend. Kenneth worked at Southwest Steel for 42 years plus. He was gifted in many areas.
Kenneth and Linda were married on February 28, 2003.
On February 17, 2021 he departed this life.
He leaves to cherish his wife, Linda; his father, J.D. Brantley; one son, Cordney (Metasha); five daughters, SheKendra of Kilgore, Keshnie of Dallas, Kendra, Dana and ShaRhonda of Longview; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Georgia of Marshall and Zetia of Dallas; two brothers, Johnny of Longview and Carl of Marshall; sister‐in‐law, Ruby; brothers‐in‐law, Rickey and Richard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends along with all of his dedicated workers of Southwest Steel.
