Kevin Duane Noel Obituary

Kevin Duane “Boojay” Noel was born in Marshall, Texas on May 9, 1974, to Emma Jean Noel. Kevin and his siblings were raised in Karnack, Texas. He loved hard and was loved even harder by his family and friends.

Kevin was a graduate of Nimitz High School in Houston, Texas in 1992. He attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. Then Kevin immediately began his career as a truck driver as an employee for Grocery Supply in Houston, Texas. He then moved to waste management where he was a highly valued employee for over 25 years as a Roll-Off Truck Driver until his health failed him due to a long (almost 6 year) battle with breast cancer.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother: Emma Jean Noel (Piggy); aunts: Clara Lovely (Shoe) and Carrie Noel (Peewee) and grandmother: Christeen Noel.

Kevin leaves behind his loving wife of 13 years and together 16 years: Lakisha Mack-Noel; precious daughter: Zhuri Reign Noel; cherished step-son: Brandon (Brandi) Mcafee; three siblings: Ken (Avice) Noel (Houston, Texas), Keith Noel (Arlington, Texas) and Kristy Noel (Dallas, Texas); several 1st cousins to whom I must make special mention: Marcia Wade (like a 2nd mom), Alisa Smith (Henry) Mouton (who was more like a sister than his cousin), Vicky (Raymond) Brown, and Monica Lovely; brothers-in-law: Patrick (Shiniqua) Toliver, David (LaTonya) Toliver, and Robert Toliver; special friend of many years: Rob; and a long list of family still living in the Houston, East Texas and DFW area.
