L. J. Lilly Obituary

On January 31, 1940, L.J. Lilly was born to the parentage of Cleo and Blanchie Lilly, in Harrison County.


He was raised in the Pleasant Green Community. L.J. accepted Christ at an early age.


He graduated from Ned E. Williams in 1959. He was an equipment operator for many years but he retired as a truck driver.


He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: L.C. Lilly; sisters; Mary Stanford and Diana Garrett; children; Larry Wrighten, Alecia Lilly, and Sheldon Lilly; grandchildren: Devin Crayton, Asakis Strange, and Alex Lilly; nephews: Frederick Stanford, and Boyce Lilly Jr.


He leaves to cherish his memory, wife: Lucille; sister: Daisy; brother: Earnest (Joyce) Lilly; daughters: Cecily, Shawn, Courtney, Brendell, Glendell, and Meosha Lilly; sons: Gary (Jacqueline), Jeff,Jeremy, Kevin (Lilliana), and Emmanuel; 40 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
