LaQuantha Sheree Gipson Lee burst into the world on Friday, October 15, 1976 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Linda and James Gipson.
Sunday, April 18, 2021, the Angel of silence came to claim the life of our beloved Quan. She was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1994. Any who came in contact with her, knew she was a caring, loving, charitable person. She loved to make people laugh and feed them a good meal.
Sundays, during football season, was her favorite time of year to cheer for her New Orleans Saints.
On January 13, 2004, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to DeMons Lee Sr.
Quan, Fluffy and Pumpkin, were just a few of her nicknames she was called. But the name she cherished the most was Mother. She poured every ounce of herself into being a mother to her girls and D.J.
Currently, Quan was a store clerk at Skinners Grocery & Market. She also worked at Applewood’s, Cherokee Club, and Alpine Cleaners.
In addition to her parents, those who preceded her in death include her son Dylan Lee, aunt Roberta Reese, and cousin Reginald Abraham.
Those left to continue her legacy and cherish her memories: husband, DeMons Lee Sr.; daughters, Precious Gipson, Passion Gipson and Asia Sheppard all of Longview; son, DeMons Lee Jr. of Longview; brothers, Ramon Abraham (LeShonda) of Shreveport, LA, Felton Williams (Donna) of Logansport, LA, Sterling Green of Shreveport, LA, Torrey Green of Shreveport, LA, Jason Gipson of Dallas, TX; sister, Ashliegh Gipson of Shreveport; uncles, Mack Abraham (Mildred) of Keithville, LA, Burnett Reese of Longview, Ricky Gipson of Keithville, LA; aunts, Shirley Bethley of Baton Rouge, LA, Ida Ward (Bobby) of Houston, TX, Jessie Sloane of Keithville, LA; special cousin, Shawnna Williams (Phil) of Keithville, LA; sister-in-law, Syamoria Williams if Midlothian, TX; a grandpuppy, Gizmo Sheppard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers and customers.
