Laura Branch Obituary

In Gainesville, Georgia on February 13,1929, Laura Dean Williams Branch a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt was born to the late Luther and Angeline Williams Sr.

Laura attended school in Flowery Branch Georgia. She also enjoyed her childhood years with her siblings. While living in Georgia she was employed as an outstanding factory worker and did household cleaning service work.

She later met the love of her life the late Eddie Branch. They later relocated to Texas where they were married and had four children. She continued her work in house cleaning services for the community of Longview. She was a faithful member of the Red Oak Missionary Baptist church and was involved in the missionary department. She had several hobbies that included shopping, fishing, cooking, and gardening. Laura was very passionate about her family and assisted in helping take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Laura was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and made it known. After she retired, she continued her hobbies and started keeping children for friends and family.

Laura went home to be with her heavenly Father on August 21, 2022. She preceded in death by her parents Luther Williams Sr. and Angeline Williams, Stepmother Gaynell Williams; husband Eddie Branch; Son Eddie Dean Branch; five brothers Luther Williams Jr., Milford Williams, John Williams, Gary Williams, and Albert Williams; seven sisters Elizabeth Gilmer, Edith Brown, Angelean Young, Mattie Mae Borders, Joyce Lott, Louvonia Casey, Elzonia Williams; Brothers-in-law Halloray Benjamin and Robert Lott ; and her granddaughter Ciara Bradberry.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three dedicated daughters Gloria (Michael) Canton, Longview, TX; Janice (Ralph) Bradberry, Rockwall, TX; Charlsie (Dexter) Stoker, Longview, TX; one sister, Annie Nell Benjamin, Buford, GA; one brother, Lloyd (Michelle) Williams, Gainesville, GA; sisterin-law, Virginia Williams, Gainesville, GA; Four loving grandchildren: Nakiah Timberlake, Oliver Timberlake III (Jenna), Ambree Thompson and Dexterrell Stoker (Kaylah); Four wonderful great-grandchildren: Jai’Lyn Ryan, Janiah Ryan, Kasen Brooks, and Raelah Stoker and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
