LEON DEWITT BRYANT was born May 13, 1935 to the parentage of Elijah and Goldie Bryant Sr. in Longview, Texas.
Leon attended Ned E. Williams school and graduated in 1956. Following graduation he worked as a cement finisher until he retired.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Bryant, two sisters Tommie Lee Bryant and Pearlie Luster.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: four children, Darrell Bryant, Vickie Thompson, Rhonda (Billy) Craig all of Longview, TX and David (Debra) Bryant of Grand Prairie, TX; two brothers, Elijah (Pearl) Bryant Jr. and Robert Bryant of Longview, TX; four sisters, Ora (Jimmy) Carter of San Diego, CA, Dora Allison of Longview, TX, Shirley (Lawrence) Geter of Kilgore, TX, Ruby (R.O.) Rice of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, DeVarious Craig, Desmond Thompson, Kenzy Craig of Longview, TX, David Bryant Jr., Darius Bryant and DeVont'e Bryant of Grand Prairie, TX; seven greatāgrandchildren along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
