Linda worked for Jordan Home Health for a number of years until her retirement. She married Earl Foster, and together they raised one child. Linda was a longtime member of the Village Pub Pool Team and helped the organization achieve success in multiple championships.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Foster; her father, Ananias Burton; her mother, Mable Burton; her sisters, Patsy Skinner and Mary Lou Burton; and her brothers, James Burton, Otis Burton, Marion D. Burton, and Jerald W. Burton.
