Lorene Faggett Davis McNeal was born into this world on May 26, 1930 in Hallsville, Texas. She was the eldest of seven born to Elijah and Willie Mae Faggett. She attended public school at Evergreen, and accepted God in her life at an early age.
She married Marvin Davis Sr. at the age of thirteen, and moved to Dallas, TX. To their union twelve children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lemmie McNeal, sisters Gladys Preston and Ruby Stonum, brothers Elijah Jr. Faggett and Charles Edward Faggett, sons Marvin Davis Jr., John Davis, Jimmy Davis, and James Davis and daughters Sherrie Davis and Pamela Taylor.
Lorene was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Christian, and a pillar in the Cartersville Community. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
She loved fishing and cooking as well as reading her bible.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories siblings, Aileen (President) Chavers and Willie Faye Davis and her children Maxine Walls, Bobby Davis (Sandra), Joetta Davis, Kathy Davis, Ronnie Greene, and Jacqueline Davis; 27 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 31 greatgreat-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
