Lottie D. Gordon Taylor was born to Monroe Gordon Jr. and Obie Satterwhite on November 19, 1921, the oldest of two siblings.
Lottie was reared in Gregg County, Post Oak Community. She attended N.E. Williams along with her other siblings.
She met and married the Late Bro. Ezell Taylor and together they raised four children: Gerald Wayne, Linda Jane, Darlene, and Alfred Henson.
She was preceded in death by Ezell, Gerald Wayne, Linda Jane, Darlene Henson, and her parents.
Before her health failed, she was a dedicated member of Post Oak C.M.E. where she served faithful as a Stewardess, Missionary, Devotional Leader. No distance was too far for her to travel to spread the word of God, the singing, shouting, and praying. She loved her church, she loved people, she loved to cook, can and garden.
Those left to cherish her memories: Sisters Mattie Butler, Eddie Lee Williams; nephew, Alfred Henson; aunt, Mrs. Novella Gray; host of nieces and nephews; special friend, Brobra Mask; special cousin, Elijah Bryant Jr. and friend, Dr. W. Leaniel Daniels.
