Mary Byrdsong Woodard was born March 2, 1951 to the parentage of the late Marvin Byrdsong Sr. and Essie Louise Byrdsong.
Mary was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age at Union Church of Christ where she was a member until her demise.
Mary received her education at Longview High School.
She was united in matrimony to Darnell Woodard and to this union a son Kevin Darnell Woodard was born.
She was employed at Oil Gear as a welder for many years until her retirement.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Othello Horton.
She leaves to cherish her only son Kevin Woodard, brothers: Marvin Jr., Johnny (Kerneatha), Roger (Opal). Five grandchildren: Deryale, Keundra, Kamari, D'Karia, Jaylon. Three great grandchildren: Quaydn, Bryze and Kannon. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
