Mercy Boyd

Mercy Lee Jackson Boyd was born on February 14, 1952, to Dessie Mae Jackson and Ester Phillips and adopted and raise with love by Hulene and Curtis Porter. Mercy bore three sons, Ezell Jackson, Odell Davis, and Michael Boyd. Mercy worked for Resistol for many years before transitioning to housekeeping at GSMC and later retiring. Mercy loved being spoiled by all but especially by her son Michael, who proceeded her in death.

She leaves behind with pride her children: Odell and Ezell; brothers: Percy, Lavor, Steve, Aaron, Sylvester, Bruce, Bobby, Charles, sister: Nadean; grandchildren: Shaquoia and Jamie; great-grandchildren: Ramiyah, Riley, D’Kyrian, and Hansym special nieces/nephews: Nadriette, Ketric, Chaquita, and Lonnie; special friend: Frances; and a host of other family and close friends.
