Octavie Bell was born on January 17, 1920 in Pleasant Green to Lake and Melissa Jimerson.
She attended Pleasant Green Baptist Church where she gave her life to Christ at an early age.
She worked as a custodian for many years until she retired.
She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and friend who gave unconditional love to anyone who crossed her path. She loved her family dearly, willingly and graciously walked the extra mile for us. She was a blessing to all.
Octavie was preceded in death by her husband, S.D. Bell; parents, Lake and Melissa Jimerson; daughters, Dorothy Mae Lewis and Dorothy Louise Bell; sisters, Claudie Anderson, Nonie Burns, Evelue Champion and four brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory; three daughters, Ida Mae Hubbard, Cassandra Bell and Gloria Bell; one son, Reggie Bell; 24 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
