Patrice Hopson was born to Charlene and Howard Call on April 30, 1961. She lived to be 65 years old and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

She married Luther Hopson, and in that union they had two children, Antranette Hopson and LaMarcus Hopson. After the marriage, she gave birth to her third child, Shemika Hopson.

Patrice drove 18-wheelers for 11 years, as she was an adventurous woman who loved to travel, and she later retired from trucking.

She was a faithful member of Center Baptist Church.

Patrice was preceded in death by her parents, Charlene and Howard Call, and Willie Stephens.

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind: 3 children — Antranette Hopson, LaMarcus Hopson, and Shemika Hopson; 4 grandchildren — Lamar Hambrick, Xavier Hopson, Tremaine Jones, and Micah Alexander; 3 brothers — Willie P. Lang, Curtis Lang, and Mario Lang; a loving aunt, Eva M. Hunt; a special and close cousin, Cassandra Hunt; and a host of other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
