Patricia Ann Adams

Mrs. Patricia Adams (BKA) Mrs. Pat to her family and friends was born September 21, 1948 in Longview, Texas to the late Sam Boyd Jr. and Elizabeth Green Boyd.

Patricia attended Ned E. Williams Elementary and later graduated from Mary C. Womack High School of Longview, TX. She attended Kilgore College majoring in Elementary. She also worked for Kilgore Manufacturing.

Patricia met and married Frank Adams Jr. December 3, 1971 and to this union two children were born.

She joined Pleasant Green Baptist Church at an early age. After marriage she later united with Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church where she was a member of the Missionary, Choir, and served as an Usher, as well as many other duties within the church until her health failed. She loved cooking, cleaning, and helping others whenever possible.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Desaree’ Nicole Miller and her grandparents.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband of 53 years, Frank Adams Jr.; her loving and devoted daughter, Lawanta (Adrian) and her loving son, her baby Corey Adams; two brothers-in-law, Archie Adams and Charles Adams of Longview, TX; four sisters-in-law, Mary Frances, Mae Clara and Shirley Lewis all of Tatum, TX and Cora Jones of Longview, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; and very special friends, Virgal Buchanan and Faye Domino.
