CHURCH: Paul W. King had accepted Christ at an early age. He was united with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. N.N. Rogers. Paul had faith in the Lord and loved to express his faith to others in Christ.
EDUCATION: He graduated from Galilee High School in the class of 1970. After graduating from high school, he attended college, until he was injured playing football. Paul later moved to Dallas, Texas and was employed with Iron Worker Local 481. He worked as a welder by trade from 1973 until he retired in 2007. MARRIAGE: Paul met and married Christine Kellam on January 26, 1979 and to this union one son was born, Paul Wyne King Jr.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: mother Vera Crayton, father Dan King, grandmother Zouma Crayton, two brothers Jerry Smith and the late Rev. David King, and daughter Franshawe Nichole Richardson.
LEAVES BEHIND: wife, Christine Kellam-King; son, Paul Wayne King Jr.; four grandchildren, Rauscher Levon King, Alexya Ja'Naye King, Alyssa Armanti King and Amber King; one brother, Joseph Smith (Geneva) Grand Prairie, TX; three sisters, Bobbie Hickman, Annette Williams of Fort Worth, TX, and Kathyrn Morrison of Longview, TX along with a host of other relatives, nephews, nieces, great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends
