Robert C. Morgan

Robert was the first child born to Estella and Robert Louis Morgan on August 1, 1961 in Longview, Texas. At an early age, he confessed his faith in Christ and joined Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C.

Robert attended public schools in Longview, Dallas, TX and Columbia, S.C. Having proven himself to be scholarly, he achieved his high school diploma far in advancement of his graduation with the Class of 1978.

Robert was employed by Eastman Chemical Company, Longview as a Chemical Operator for Polyethylene for 41 years until his health failed.

Robert was an avid reader of various genres, and had an astounding passion for artworks and home gardening. He loved to share his passions with everyone in unforgettable conversations.

Robert united in Holy Matrimony to Cheryl Diahanne Bryant on June 29, 1991. To this union one child was conceived, but rreassigned from earth to heaven to abide eternally as one of God's Baby Angels.

On Monday, January 4, 2021, Robert quietly and peacefully departed this earthly life to go and be with his heavenly father.

Robert leaves to cherish many wonderful memories:  his loving wife, Cheryl Diahanne Morgan; son, Brian Christopher Morgan of Flowood, MS; daughters, Makeshia Morgan and Kaleshia Morgan of Longview; mother, Estella McCoy of Longview; sister, Tera Hollins of Longview; sister-in-law, Rene' Bryant Centers of Longview; uncle, Bishop Joseph Glover (Betty) of Longview; aunt, Kathryn Bowie of Longview; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
