Ronderus Le'kinta Bradley was born on October 4, 1977, in Longview, Texas, to Kathy Ann Bradley and Alton Lewis. At his birth, the doctor announced that he was already a football player, remarking on the broadest shoulders he had ever seen on a newborn. From the very start, Ron’s strength —both physical and his character—was evident. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Dallas West Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas.
Ron graduated in 1996 from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, where he formed lasting friendships and built a foundation for the life ahead of him. Though many career paths were open to him, Ron chose to follow his true passion—music. He was known for his sharp sense of humor, his unwavering values, and a spirit that lifted those around him.
Throughout his life, if a friend or family member ever needed a shoulder to lean on, Ron’s were always readily available. He was a loving older brother and a staunch protector of his family, especially his mother—nobody could say “Mama” like Ronderus. He had a big heart and cherished his family and friends deeply. Once you became his friend, you were always his friend. Ron was also a philosopher of everything, offering insight, encouragement, and wisdom with his own unique perspective.
Ron’s legacy will be remembered not only in the songs he created but in the lives he touched with his kindness, his strength, and his heart. To know him was to be blessed by his presence, and his memory would live on in the joy he gave to others.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Robert Bradley; maternal grandmother, Ella Lou Lampkin; aunts, Kaye Fife and Ethel Starling; uncles, German Loyd and Robert Bradley, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother: Kathy Ann Bradley; loving brother: Reginald Bradley; daughters: Karon Bradley & Netta Bradley; grandchildren: KyAire Malik Bradley, Jeremiah Bradley, and Ja'Liyah Bradley; niece: Ardena Skye Bradley; and, a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
