Ms. Sally Pentecost was born July 6, 1948 to the parentage of the Mr. and Mrs. Will and Mable Roberts. She received her education at Mary C. Womack and attended University of North Texas for a short time.
She confessed Christ and was baptized at the Church of the living God. Her faith and belief in GOD helped to sustain her as an adult.
She began her career early in life caring for many as a CNA. It was her strong and unwavering work ethic and compassion for others that would be the values she instilled in her children. She would eventually retire from Good Shepherd Medical Center and devoting over 20 Years to the healthcare field.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Baby boy Pentecost, who died at birth, two sisters Betty “Faye” Curry and Carolyn “Cookie ” Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Damiya Pentecost and Shamata Pentecost; three grandchildren, Destiny and Jazlyn— Shamata is there mother and Carl Jr. —Damiya is his mother; one great -grandchild, Brielle and Jazlyn is her mother; sisters, Ruby Bush (Leon), Willene Roberts of California; brother -in -law, Kenneth Taylor (Carolyn) of Georgia ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
